Worship in March

In the month of March,  the worship and sermons will focus on a time of reflection, renewal, and clarifying life's purpose.

These sermons are for reflection and action in living the Christian Life.

Children's Program

March 21: 10:00am

Holy Week

March 28: Palm Sunday. Choir performs a special Easter Cantata.

April1:  7:30pm.  Holy Thursday Candle Light Communion.  Reflect on the life of the Disciples.

April 2:  2:00pm  Good Friday Service at the Carversville UCC Church.

April 4:  10:00am. Easter service.

United Methodist Women

Upcoming meetings will be held in the church.  Bring a bag lunch.  Dessert and beverage will be provided.

March 8: 11:30am meeting.

March 20: 9:30am-3:00pm.  Women's Lenten Retreat at Pastor Lewis' home.

April 12:  11:30am meeting.

Choir

Tuesday Evenings:  Practice.  7:30pm at the Church. 

March 28:  Palm Sunday special Easter Cantata "Who Is This King?"

Bible Study

Thursdays: 10:00am at the Church or 7:30pm at the home of Pastor Lewis.

April 9th & 10th: Conference On Healing with Pastor Lewis.

Spring Bazaar

May 1:  9:00am-3:00pm.  Annual Spring Bazaar at the Church.  Contact church@lahaskachurch.com for details on how you can be a part of this important annual event.

Classic Car Gathering

June 5:  9:00am-3:00pm.  2nd Annual Lahaska Motor Heads Car Rendezvous at the Church.

LUMC Growing Families

Did you know there is a Family Resource Library?   Feel free to look at the books or check out a movie!  It is located downstairs

in the Nursery.    And....just a reminder:  if anyone has checked out any books, be sure to bring them back and sign them back in.
